iWeb™ Hosting
Yes, you can host websites created with Apple's popular and easy to use iWeb™ software on our Macintosh OS X webservers. And yes, YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN DOMAIN NAME! No more clunky URLs like homepage.mac.com/something... Simply publish your files in iWeb using the "Publish to a Folder" option on the iWeb File menu. We provide easy instructions on downloading your files to our server - either using our convenient web interface, or via FTP (File Transer Protocol).
FTP is super easy. You open a connection, enter your password, then just drag files from your desktop into the application window which shows your files on our remote server. Use inexpensive commercial FTP software like Transmit or Fetch - or free "donationware" software like the cutely named CyberDuck. While Cyberduck is free and works fine most of the time, it's definitely not as solid as Transmit ($29.95) which I use several times every day and can totally recommend. Transmit even has instructions about how to use it with iWeb.

Note
on CDML Tags
Filemaker 4/5/6 use the CDML markup language. This is a derivative
of Lasso. Pages created with CDML tags can be run under Lasso with
minor or no modifications. Filemaker 7/8 uses a different method, CDML pages have to be converted.

One question we are often asked is, why do we charge per database? The
reason is that Filemaker Pro (4/5/6) only allows 50 databases to be open on one
server. Once we have 50 files open, we have to buy a new server to host
additional sites. If you have a large database application and/or expect
heavy traffic, it's often more economical to have a dedicated web server.
We offer server co-location services in our secure data center. We can provide full service
server installation, setup and management of your database-driven
website from $199/month, depending on services required and traffic.
